About Signature by K&J

Kate and Johan. A shared eye for interiors. A low tolerance for the ordinary.

Signature by K&J began with a gift — a hand-painted Mexican tequila set from close friends in the United States. What caught their attention first was the craftsmanship. The weight. The detail. What stayed with them was something harder to describe: the sense that every piece carried a history, a hand and a human touch.

They brought it home to Sweden.

In the Nordics, the dominant palette is familiar — white, grey, black, beige. Considered. Restrained. These ceramics did not blend in. They did not try to. They created contrast, sparked conversation and changed the atmosphere of the room.

That tension became the foundation of Signature by K&J.

Living in Scandinavia, we are deeply drawn to calm interiors, natural light and intentional simplicity. But we also believe that minimalism needs a counterpoint. Warmth. Texture. Personality.

We look for pieces that change the feeling of a room.

Over time, many of the pieces in our own home stopped feeling like objects and started feeling like characters. That is why several figurines in the collection carry names connected to our own family and life together.

Gunnar. Felix. Maksiu. Amanda. Erik. Lucas.

Not as products. But as personalities.

Today, Signature by K&J brings hand-painted Mexican ceramics into Nordic spaces through a collection shaped by contrast — expressive forms placed into calm interiors, where craftsmanship, colour and character are allowed to stand out.

Mexican artisanal tradition. Nordic restraint. One collection.
